This is a research reference, not a product for sale or a dosing recommendation. No amount is selected for CJC-1295. A listed name does not mean it is supplied in a vial or should be injected.

About CJC-1295

CJC-1295 is a synthetic, long-acting analog of growth-hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), designed with a drug-affinity complex that binds circulating albumin. In a small human study, this modification prolonged exposure and raised measured growth hormone and IGF-I over days. These short-term hormone measurements are pharmacodynamic findings, not evidence of lasting clinical benefit. The name is sometimes used imprecisely for non-DAC GHRH fragments; those products should not be assumed to share CJC-1295's structure or duration.

At a glance

Class
Modified GHRH analog; DAC denotes the albumin-binding drug-affinity complex.
Studied mechanism
GHRH-receptor signaling stimulates pituitary GH release; the DAC modification extends circulating persistence through albumin binding.
Evidence context
A small study in healthy adults measured sustained GH and IGF-I changes; this does not demonstrate long-term clinical outcomes.

Blank arithmetic calculator

For independently verified inputs, concentration equals entered vial amount in mg divided by added liquid in mL. Entered requested mg divided by concentration gives mL; multiplying mL by the actual syringe markings per mL gives units. Enable JavaScript to use the calculator. This math does not establish that a compound is suitable for injection.

Common questions

What is the role of DAC in CJC-1295?

The drug-affinity complex promotes binding to albumin, extending the analog's persistence in circulation. “CJC-1295 without DAC” is often used loosely for a different, shorter GHRH fragment and is not structurally interchangeable.

What did the human CJC-1295 study establish?

A small study in healthy adults found prolonged changes in measured GH and IGF-I after exposure to CJC-1295. It did not establish long-term health benefit or approval for clinical treatment.
